Persona 4 Arena Ultimax’s rollback netcode update is now live
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax now supports rollback netcode on PlayStation 4 and PC, Atlus has announced.
For those unfamiliar with the system, rollback netcode works by predicting the inputs of the opponent in an online match and then correcting them if wrong. This results in a smoother experience for both players regardless of their connection quality.
On PC, players will need to opt into a beta build of the game to use rollback netcode. To join, right-click on Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in the library and go to properties. Then, move to the Betas tab, enter the code “p4auopenbeta03,” and then select “open_beta_3” from the drop down.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is available now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
