Oxenfree II: Lost Signals release pushed to 2023

Night School Studio has announced that it is moving the release window of Oxenfree II: Lost Signals from 2022 to 2023.

In a message posted to Twitter, the developer explained that it is pushing the game’s release into next year to make sure that it is “truly special” and to give additional time for adding more localizations.

“We owe it to our amazing community to make Oxenfree II: Lost Signals the best game it can possibly be. Seeing your fan art, reading your excited comments, and connecting with you fuels our ambition to make this our best game yet,” Night School Studio wrote. “To make Oxenfree II truly special and add more localizations, we’re moving our release window to 2023.”

In the upcoming sequel, Riley Poverly returns to her hometown of Camena to investigate unnaturally occurring electromagnetic waves that are causing interference with electrical and radio equipment. 

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is now set to release in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
