When The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild concluded, Link and Zelda promised to return the land of Hyrule to its former glory. But this was not the end of the tale. A direct sequel, Tears of the Kingdom again has Link fighting an evil that threatens the kingdom. Except while his previous adventure was grounded, this open world adventure game now has our hero also traveling to islands that float above Hyrule. Good thing he has access to some vehicles, including a hovercraft, when he needs to get around… and down. He’s also improved his surfing skills, as he can now grind railings while riding atop of his shield. Expect to face some new enemies, as well as plenty of familiar ones. Not only are the zombie-like ReDeads returning for the first time since 2015’s TriForce Heroes, but Link will also battle some stone giants—and a three-headed dragon looms large over the land.
