It’s been five years since he faced Lord Vader in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but Padawan turned self-taught Jedi Cal Kestis is still running from The Empire. Like Fallen Order, Survivor is a third-person hack-and-slash platformer in the vein of the Tomb Raider and God of War games, only if Lara and Kratos had lightsabers and The Force. Now, with five more years under his belt, Cal has some new Force powers, as well as the ability to wield more kinds of lightsabers—including two at the same time whenever he wants, and one with a cross-guard similar to Kylo Ren’s—with each style having its own attacks and upgradable skills. He’s also set up camp on the planet Koboh, a large and open world full of side quests. Koboch and the other planets in the game are easier to navigate, too, thanks to fast travel points and creatures you can ride.
