Set in an alternate version of Russia in 1955, this stealth action first-person shooter casts you as a KGB agent who has to infiltrate Facility 3826 to find out why the installation’s previously helpful robots have rebelled and are entirely ignoring Asimov’s First Law—you know, the one about not killing people. As you get deeper into the mystery, though, there’s more to deal with than some malfunctioning robots. Thankfully, not only are you armed, but you’re also good at crafting and upgrading weapons using household items and parts of the bots you’ve destroyed. And while you can never scavenge enough ammo, you can make melee weapons or avoid conflicts altogether by using your KGB-trained sneakiness. All of this makes for what looks like an engaging experience in the vein of series like Metro and BioShock.
