Oddworld: Soulstorm trailer celebrates the game’s release
PlayStation and PC owners can now play Oddworld: Soulstorm, the second entry in the Oddworld quintology.
Soulstorm picks up events following Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty and once again places players in control of the Mudokon Abe. Players must continue Abe’s mission to save the Mudokons while also battling against a powerful army backed by a shady and wealthy corporation.
This latest entry in the series features four different endings based on the number of Mudokons saved in each of the game’s 17 levels, creative director Lorne Lanning revealed in a PlayStation Blog post. Players will see the bad ending if they only manage to save 80 percent of the Mudokons in six or fewer levels, while saving 80 percent in all 17 levels rewards the true final ending, so try not to leave many behind.
Oddworld: Soulstorm is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. PlayStation 5 owners who are subscribed to PlayStation Plus can download the game for free this month.
