Newest Cities: Skylines expansion is all about pedestrians
Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order have announced Plazas and Promenades, the latest expansion for city-builder Cities: Skylines.
This expansion puts the focus on the pedestrians of the city by introducing new ways to reduce traffic and get people walking. One new addition is Pedestrian Streets, which let players keep cars out of areas and can be placed down like other roads.
Also included are pedestrian Zones and Policies, such as one to reduce the speed limit in pedestrian zones and a way to increase the average lifespan of citizens in the pedestrian zone at the cost of happiness.
The final piece of the DLC is three new district specializations for offices, high-density residential areas, and high-density commercial zones.
Accompanying Plazas and Promenades will be Mid-Century Modern and Seaside Resorts creator packs and two new radio stations.
Plazas and Promenades is coming soon to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
