New Game+ Expo promises look at the future of Japanese gaming
With COVID-19 still a major threat around the world, video game publishers and developers have had to get more creative in finding ways to showcase their upcoming titles to fans.
To help in that, a coalition of 14 game publishers from both North America and Japan are coming together for New Game+ Expo. The showcase will kick off on Twitch on June 23rd starting at 8AM Pacific, with the live broadcast running from 9AM until 5PM Pacific. The event will feature first looks, Q&As, and more from a wide variety of companies connected to Japanese gaming. Afterward, the full showcase, along with trailers and highlights, will be available on NGPX’s YouTube channel.

“New Game+ Expo is a grassroots coalition of publishers and developers,” said Adam Johnson, producer of NGPX, as part of the event’s announcement. “Organizing together for the first time, we hope fans have fun as we take alook at the combined upcoming lineup of games for 2020 and beyond!”
