Neverwinter is adding the Bard class
Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios have announced that Neverwinter will be getting its first new class since the Oathbound Paladin in 2016.
The Bard class will be introduced later this year as part of the next major module release on consoles and PC. Players who choose this class will be able to weave magic into their weapon and inspire their allies through music.
Bards will have two Paragon Paths to progress down: Songblades and Minstrels. Songblades are damage dealers who attack using swordplay, magic, and music, while Minstrels are healers who support their allies through music. More information about the Bard, including a release date, will be shared soon.
Publisher Perfect World Entertainment also revealed that Episode 3 of Neverwinter’s Sharadar module will be coming to PC on June 8th, with a console release to follow on July 6th.
Neverwinter is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
