MultiVersus update adds Rick Sanchez and adjusts character mastery progression
A big update is going live for platform fighter MultiVersus later today, developer Player First Games has announced.
The highlight of this update is the introduction of Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty as a playable character. Rick is a mage character and joins his grandson Morty in the game.
Also included is a big change to the rate of character mastery progression. Following this update, the amount of time it takes to go from level three to level 15 has been doubled due to players progressing too quickly.
“We were finding that players could get to level 15 of the mastery track too quickly,” the developer explained in the patch notes. “This is to help us make it a bit more of a journey.”
Other changes include loading improvements on last-gen consoles, character balance adjustments, and new cosmetics. Read the full patch notes here.
