MultiVersus Season 1 and Morty release delayed
Player First Games has announced a delay for the start of MultiVersus Season 1.
Season 1 was originally scheduled to release on August 9th. However, the developer announced in a message posted on Twitter that this is no longer happening and did not share a new release date. This also means that the game’s next character, Morty Smith from Rick & Morty, has also been delayed.
Morty is set to arrive at the start of Season 1, with Rick Sanchez following later in the season.
“We know this might be disappointing for some and want to assure our Community that we are dedicated to delivering new and exciting content that delights players,” the developer said.
“We’ll let you know the timing as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience & enthusiasm and look forward to unveiling Season 1 very soon!”
MultiVersus is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
