MultiVersus open beta is now live, free character rotation begins
Warner Bros. Games’ free-to-play platform fighter MultiVersus has entered open beta on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Players can jump in now and play as Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Shaggy, Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil, Arya Stark, Tom & Jerry, and more in the 2 vs. 2 team-based cooperative mode, 1 vs. 1 matches, and 4-player free-for-all.
The open beta also features eight environments including the Batcave (DC), Tree Fort (Adventure Time), and Scooby’s Haunted Mansion (Scooby-Doo).
In addition to kicking off the open beta, Warner Bros. Games has started up the free character rotation for MultiVersus. Four characters will be free for all players to use on a two-week rotation. Any progress made with a free character will be saved for the next time they enter the free rotation. Players can also use Gold to unlock any character they wish and use them all the time.
“Want to practice ANY character? You always can in the LAB – but please note that you won’t earn progression here. It’s just for practice,” the publisher added.
MultiVersus is available now in open beta on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
