Monster Hunter World: Iceborne 2020 roadmap revealed
As previously promised, Capcom revealed its 2020 roadmap for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne over the weekend.
The first item on the roadmap for consoles is the Grand Appreciation Fest, which will run from January 24th until February 13th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Following in February will be special limited-time event quests that will offer high encounter rates for gold crown monsters, increased decoration rewards drop rates, and more.
Moving into March, Iceborne’s third major title update will arrive, bringing with it two new monster variants. Finally, April will see the launch of a new title update that includes new Arch-tempered and Master Rank versions of existing monsters, as well as the Astera/Seliana Fest.
While over on PC, Iceborne’s first major update will land on February 6th. The update will include Rajang, the Resident Evil collaboration event, room updates, and the new Volcanic Region. Then, on March 12th, the second major update will arrive, bringing with it Safi’jiiva, Stygian Zinogre, and the Tundra Region.
April sees the arrival of title update three and something that PC players have been waiting for since Monster Hunter: World launched: content parity with consoles. Platform parity will begin with the launch of title update 13.50, which introduces the new Arch-tempered and Master Rank versions of existing monsters.
The final item on the roadmap for both consoles and PC is the tease of the return of a “fan-favorite” monster for May.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
