Microsoft’s next-gen console is called Xbox Series X
Microsoft announced at The Game Awards that its next-generation console, formally known as Project Scarlett, will officially be titled Xbox Series X.
As previously announced, the upcoming console will feature a custom-designed AMD processor based on the Zen 2 architecture, high-bandwidth GDDR6 RAM, an SSD, and support for up to 8K resolution and 120 FPS.
Xbox Series X is scheduled to release in holiday 2020.
