Microsoft shares its plans for Xbox at Gamescom
Microsoft’s booth at Gamescom this year will have more than 200 gameplay stations, including the first public hands-on with Minecraft Dungeons and Gears 5’s Horde Mode.
The company will kick things off with a new episode of Inside Xbox from the Gloria Theatre in Cologne, Germany on Monday, August 19th at 8 a.m. PDT.
This will be followed by the Xbox Open Doors event, which runs from August 21st through August 23rd at the Gloria Theatre. The event is free to enter and will feature community events, game tournaments, panel sessions, and more. More information about the event will be shared at a later date.
In terms of games, Gamescom attendees will be able to get hands-on time with Age of Empires II Definitive Edition, Battletoads, Bleeding Edge, Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC, Minecraft Dungeons, and more.
Microsoft added that Xbox Adaptative Controllers will be available for nearly every game at the show and there will be wheelchair access at every point of the booth.
Gamescom takes place in Cologne, Germany from August 20th through August 24th.
