Asobo Studio has confirmed that Microsoft Flight Simulator will be moving from alpha to closed beta testing on July 30th.
All players who are currently testing the game in alpha will be automatically granted access to the beta. The developer added that a new wave of invites will be sent out before the beta begins for non-alpha players.
In other news, Asobo has released a new update for the alpha build and sent out another wave of invites. This latest update focuses on community feedback, bug fixes, and tuning, according to the developer. Take a look at the full patch notes here.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is scheduled to launch later this year for PC and is also in development for Xbox One.
