Meet Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s electric frog Pokémon Bellibolt
Following a tease earlier this week, The Pokémon Company has revealed the partner Pokémon of the Levincia gym leader Iono.
Meet Bellibolt, the electric-type frog Pokémon that “expands and contracts its elastic body to generate electricity in an organ that looks like a belly button.” This Pokémon discharges electricity through the two bumps on either side of its head, which are not eyes.
Bellibolt has access to the ability Electromorphosis, which boosts the power of the next electric-type move when attacked.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet launch on November 18th for Nintendo Switch.
