Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Embr, and more coming to Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft is kicking off 2022 with eight new games for Xbox Game Pass.
The new arrivals begin today, January 4th, with puzzle game Gorogoa (Cloud, Console, and PC), Olija (Cloud, Console, and PC), and 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle platformer The Pedestrian (Cloud, Console, and PC).
Following these games will be firefighting multiplayer party game Embr (Cloud, Console, and PC) and Outer Wilds (Cloud, Console, and PC). Also arriving on the same day through EA Play is Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on console and PC. The collection, which was released last year, features upgraded single-player base content and over 40 DLCs for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3.
The final batch of games being added arrive on January 13th and include roguelike platformer Spelunky 2 (Console and PC) and cooperative FPS The Anacrusis (Console and PC).
Microsoft also announced that a number of titles are leaving the service later this month. The following titles are being removed from Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:
- Desperados III (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Ghost of a Tale (PC)
- Kingdom Hearts III (Console)
- Mount & Blade: Warband (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Pandemic (Console and PC)
- Yiik: A Postmodern RPG (PC)
