Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has officially gone gold
Insomniac Games has announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has reached gold status ahead of its release next month.
A game going gold means that development of the main game is complete and the code is ready to be sent to manufacturing to be printed to disks and mass produced. As noted in the announcement, this is for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
As previously revealed by the developer, players who choose to pick up the game on PlayStation 4 can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free. Additionally, players can bring their save files for the game with them.
