Little Nightmares II has been upgraded for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S with the release of the Enhanced Edition.
This new version of the game allows players to choose between two graphical modes: Beauty and Performance. The former runs the game at 4K/30 FPS with “optimized” ray tracing, while the latter locks the game to 60 FPS with a dynamic resolution up to 4K and ray tracing. Players on current-gen consoles also get increased resolution on volumetric shadows, interactive particles, and new immersive 3D audio.
Ray-traced reflections, the improvements to volumetric shadows, interactive particles, and the 3D soundscape have also been added to the PC release through a free update.
Owners of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can download the Enhanced Edition for free on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Little Nightmares II is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
