Life is Strange: True Colors first official gameplay trailer revealed
Deck Nine and Square Enix have released their first official gameplay video from Life is Strange: True Colors, and it definitely looks like a Life is Strange game.
The footage is over 13 minutes long, and it takes place entirely in Haven Springs’ local record shop, the Rocky Mountain Record Traders. There, Alex sees Steph hosting her radio show and meets Ryan. Steph and Ryan are both potential love interests for Alex.
For anyone who has played previous Life is Strange games, the gameplay should look familiar. We see dialogue choices, puzzles to be solved, and the series’ patented attention to environmental detail. We also get to see why Alex considers her ability to read people’s emotions a curse.
Life is Strange: True Colors launches on September 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Stadia. Square Enix has already announced DLC that focuses on Steph called Life is Strange: Wavelengths for September 30th. Both True Colors and the DLC episode are launching later for Nintendo Switch.
