Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga gets a new release date and trailer
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga launches on April 5th, 2022, publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer TT Games have announced.
Accompanying the release date announcement was a new trailer that offers an in-depth look at the game. The trailer shows off the wide range of characters available, new mechanics, combat, space travel, and more. There’s also a small tease of Mumble Mode, which replaces the voiceovers with the mumbles used in previous Lego games.
The upcoming collection allows players to explore any of the three trilogies in whatever order they choose and introduces new blaster controls that allow for precision aiming. Players will also discover a new galaxy map that lets them chart their way through the complete saga by progressively unlocking new planets. When moving between planets, players can engage in heroic dog fights against enemy ships as the Millennium Falcon, Imperial TIE fighters, Rebel X-wings, and many more legendary ships.
The Skywalker Saga also gives players the choice to either continue the main story or explore to find new quests and rewards when arriving on a new planet.
Players who choose to preorder the game will receive early access to the Trooper Character Pack. A Deluxe Edition is also available that includes the Character Collection Bundle, which grants access to seven planned character packs.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga launches April 5th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
