Latest rumor suggests new Silent Hill being revealed at The Game Awards
Rumors have been swirling for a while now that Sony is helping to bring back the Silent Hill series, and the latest addition to the rumor pile says we’ll be getting a reveal soon.
Business analyst Roberto Serrano tweeted recently that this year’s The Game Awards on December 10th would be the stage for the unveiling of the new PlayStation 5-exclusive Silent Hill game. Now, I’m going to be honest here: I’ve never really heard of Mr. Serrano before, and have no idea about his track record, so I’m taking this with a grain of salt for now.
Still, at this point, there’s enough talk out there to believe that a new Silent Hill is coming at some point, though. Talk is that the game is being worked on by SIE Japan Studio, and headed up by Keiichiro Toama, who every longtime fan will know as the main creative force behind the original Silent Hill.
Thankfully, we won’t have long to wait to find out if this rumor is true or not. If it’s not, however, then it’s back to waiting for you, new Silent Hill game. Waiting for you to come see us.
