Judgment sequel Lost Judgment announced with debut trailer
Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have unveiled Lost Judgment, the sequel to legal thriller Judgment.
Lost Judgment sees detective Takayuki Yagami return and tasks him with solving what appears to be the perfect crime. The announcement trailer below opens with a man being sentenced to six months in prison before he reveals the location of a body.
The sequel will take players to Yokohama, the setting of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, in addition to the familiar Kamurocho. Yokohama will reveal different sides of itself depending on the time of day and is home to a high school that Yagami will be going undercover in. This high school features fully modeled classrooms, hallways, faculty rooms, and a gym, and is where a new type of side story called School Storties will take place.
Combat has also been upgraded in Lost Judgment with the addition of a new Snake style that focuses on counterattacking opponents. Additionally, Yagami can now scale buildings, sneak around, and distract enemies.
Lost Judgment is scheduled to launch worldwide on September 24th, 2021, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
