It sure sounds like Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be at Ubisoft Forward
Ubisoft has announced the headlining games for its upcoming Forward presentation, and it sure sounds like the mysterious Assassin’s Creed Infinity will make an appearance.
According to the publisher, September 10th’s Ubisoft Forward will feature “exciting updates on upcoming games like Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Skull and Bones” as well as a “very special Assassin’s Creed showcase” that will focus on “the future of the franchise.”
Now, Ubisoft already confirmed the next Assassin’s Creed game, Mirage, after its digital store accidentally leaked its existence. It also tweeted that the game will show up on September 10th. If Ubisoft was just talking about Mirage, the press release probably would have specified. But we have a feeling that Infinity will make some kind of appearance.
To jog your memory, Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Infinity after reports of its existence traveled far and wide. Those reports, from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, posited Infinity as not a standalone game, but a “massive online platform that evolves over time.”
We’ll find out for sure when Ubisoft Forward airs on September 10th at 12 p.m. PT.
