Insurgency: Sandstorm gets a console release date
It’s been a long time coming, but Focus Home Interactive has announced that New World Interactive’s shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm will finally be coming to consoles on August 25th, 2020.
The publisher also released a new trailer for the game that offers a taste of what console players can expect, such as “immersive audio design” and “intense team-based combat.”
“The console market has been craving a hardcore modern-day tactical shooter for a long time. Expanding our tried and tested PC formula to the console market is a huge step in our company’s evolution and we are excited to bring our signature style of tactical FPS to the console market for the very first time,” New World Interactive president Keith Warner said.
Insurgency: Sandstorm is available now on PC and will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 25th.
