Hyper Scape Season 2 includes a new weapon, hack, landmark, and more
Season 2 of Ubisoft’s free-to-play battle royale Hyper Scape is scheduled to begin next week on October 6th, the publisher has announced.
The upcoming season will introduce a new landmark to explore and a new weapon called the Atrax, which fires a burst of sticky explosives that detonate after a period of time. Later in the season, Ubisoft will be adding the Platform hack, which spawns a horizontal platform, and a new Floor is Lava game mode.
Other additions include Crown Rush Duo, Daily Gifts that can include Battle Points and cosmetics, and a solo version of Crown Rush that features a new Second Chance system. Second Chance lets players redeploy if they are eliminated early.
Finally, a ranking system is being introduced that will cover Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Champion. The rank is formed based on the 10 best matches of a player and only counts during Crown Rush Squad matches.
Hyper Scape is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
