Hyper Scape 1.1 update will nerf Hexfire and Mammoth, add new controller options
Ubisoft has outlined the changes that it is making to its free-to-play battle royale game Hyper Scape with the release of update 1.1 later this week.
To start with, the upcoming mid-season update will make changes to two of the game’s most popular weapons: Hexfire and Mammoth MK1. The former is having its clip size reduced, while the latter is getting a damage reduction.
Some big changes are also on the way for controller players to address complaints regarding aiming. The 1.1 update will introduce a linear response curve option, the ability to disable aim acceleration, and an adjustment for the default controller sensitivity. Other changes for consoles include an increase in Hack cooldowns when holding the Crown and an increase in the amount of time that players need to hold the Crown to win the game.
Finally, the first version of player stats are coming with this update. Following the update, players will be able to see their matches won, damage done, enemies eliminated, and more.
Hyper Scape is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
