Humankind’s console release has been delayed
Sega, Amplitude Studios, and Aspyr have announced an indefinite delay for the console versions of Humankind.
In a message posted on the official forums, Amplitude Studios explained that the team has “run into unexpected challenges” while porting the game over to consoles. Any players who have pre-purchased the console version on digital storefronts “will receive a refund where applicable in line with platform policy.”
“We know this will be frustrating for many of you, but we believe this delay is for the best, as we want to make sure to provide the best possible experience to console players,” the developer added. “Unfortunately, we’re not in a position to give a timeframe on a new release date right now, but we will update you all as soon as we can.”
Humankind is available now on PC and is due to receive its first expansion, Together We Rule, on November 9th.
