Hood: Outlaws & Legends post-launch plans include a new map and character

Focus Home Interactive and Sumo Digital have outlined their post-launch plans for multiplayer PvPvE heist game Hood: Outlaws & Legends.

The game’s first year of free content will be split into four seasons, with Season 0, titled Litha, bringing with it a new game mode, seasonal and community events, and a brand-new map called Mountain. This new map is made up of two main areas that are connected by bridges and mixes long sightlines with tight overpasses. Get a brief look at it in the trailer below:

Following this will be three more seasons that contain more events and cosmetics, “major” gameplay additions, and a brand-new fifth Outlaw named Eidaa. More information about this new character will be shared in the “near future.”

In addition to this free content, players can purchase three Battle Passes during Year 1 that will unlock new outfits, weapon skins, and banners. Owners of the game’s Year 1 Edition will automatically gain access to each Battle Pass as it is released.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends launches May 10th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, players who preorder the game can jump in three days early starting May 7th.
