Hogwarts Legacy trailers show off all four houses’ common rooms
A new series of trailers show off the inside of all four houses’ common rooms—Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff—in Hogwarts Legacy.
The trailers give some hints as to what players can do in the common rooms. Each common room has their appropriately animated entrances, for starters. Heading inside, players will find students hanging out, working, and practicing magic. There are also interactive items like globes and what appear to be storage chests, as well as living paintings and other magical touches.

After delaying the game to 2023, Portkey Games has been showing off more of Hogwarts Legacy. Most recently, a new gameplay trailer shows what happens if you befriend a particular Slytherin student.
Ever since its announcement, Hogwarts Legacy has been mired in controversy thanks to the transphobic remarks of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. Warner Bros. initially attempted to distance the series’ creator from the game, saying that she was “not directly involved” in its development, but later took down that statement from its website. Rowling has since gone on to publish a novel under a pseudonym about a transphobic content creator who faces backlash for their remarks.
Hogwarts Legacy launches February 10th, 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. A Switch release will come later.
