Hitman 3 is getting new maps, storylines, modes, and more in 2022

A second year of Hitman 3 content is on the way in 2022, IO Interactive has revealed.

Year 2 begins on January 20th, 2022, and players can expect “new maps, new storylines, new modes, and new ways to play,” throughout the year, according to the developer. A full reveal for Year 2 is scheduled for January 2022.

Ahead of the full reveal, IO Interactive has shared a few things that it is working on, including support for VR on PC, full ray tracing support for PC, and a new way to play Elusive Targets titled Elusive Target Arcade. This new game mode offers players “the ultimate Elusive Target challenge in a change to the established formula in this fan-favorite game mode.”

Finally, IO Interactive teased a new map for the game that is set for release in spring 2022. Check it out in the announcement trailer below:

Hitman 3 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and Stadia.
