Hitman 2 heads to Siberia today with new Sniper Assassin map
Hitman 2’s new Sniper Assassin map, The Prison, arrives today on all platforms for Expansion Pass owners.
This new map sees players traveling to the Perm-14 prison facility in Siberia and tasks them with eliminating two targets: Roman Khabko, a Russian mobster with suspected political ties, and Vitaly Reznikov, a prison warden who has been offered a bribe to release Khabko early.
To successfully complete this mission, players must eliminate both Khabko and Rezinov, eliminate Rezinov’s Siberian Tigers mercenary guards, and cause a prison riot. Watch a debut trailer for the mission below:
In addition to the main mission, the map includes new Sniper Assassin challenges to complete, new trophies/achievements to earn, and a new Rifle Mastery Progression that rewards the Druzhina 34 ICA Arctic sniper rifle.
As mentioned above, this content is available for all owners of the game’s Expansion Pass or Gold Edition on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The developer notes that the location will not be available to purchase separately.
Also arriving today is the Anniversary Outfit Bundle. This free outfit pack is available to all players who sign up for an IOI account and includes the Futo Suit, the Lynch Suit, and the Freedom Phantom Suit. Players can sign up for an account in-game or via the official website.
