Here’s what’s coming to Xbox this week

Microsoft has confirmed the full lineup of new games coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One over the next seven days.

It’s a busy week for Xbox owners, with several major releases on the way. Kicking things off is WB Games Montreal’s Gotham Knights. Players take control of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin following the death of Batman as they protect Gotham City while investigating the Court of Owls.

Joining it is Gearbox Software’s spiritual successor to Tales from the Borderlands. Follow Anu, Octavio, and Fran “on the worst day of their lives” in this narrative adventure. New Tales from the Borderlands launches on October 21st.

Another highly-anticipated release is A Plague Tale: Requiem, the direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. After escaping their homeland Amicia and her brother Hugo travel far south to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse. However, Hugo’s powers reawaken and the rats return, which forces the pair to flee and go in search of a prophesized island that could save Hugo. The game will be available through Game Pass from day one.

Other releases include Persona 5 Royal, the free-to-play switch for The Sims 4, and asynchronous multiplayer game Phantom Abyss.
