Halo Infinite gets a new story trailer, but still no release date

Xbox has finally given us a release date for Halo Infinite in a new trailer during its E3 showcase.

The trailer shows off both the massive playable world of Zeta Halo, as well as a better idea as to how the story will play out.

Master Chief is looking for Cortana, but he doesn’t seem to remember where he is or how he got there. He gets the rundown from another Cortana-like AI and sets off on a mission to discover how and why Cortana went missing.

Unfortunately, the one thing we were really curious about—a release date—was nowhere to be found. Halo Infinite is still scheduled for holiday 2021.
