Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 rollback netcode beta begins today
The public beta test for Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2‘s rollback netcode begins today, October 17th, on PC, developer Arc System Works has announced.
Rollback netcode predicts the inputs of the opponent in an online match and then rolls back to the correct input if the prediction was incorrect. This helps ensure smooth gameplay online regardless of connection quality.
The public beta test is due to end on October 31st at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Arc System Works also announced a Rollback Retrofit Sale on Steam, which is running until October 23rd. During the sale, players can get 80 percent off Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, 75 percent off Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, and 50 percent off Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 Deluxe Edition, and Blazblue Cross Tag Battle Special Edition.
