GTA Online’s Cayo Perico Heist is out now—here’s everything that comes with the update

The latest heist for Grand Theft Auto Online, Cayo Perico, doesn’t just add a whole new island to explore, but it’s bringing with it several changes to the heist formula, as well as new clothing brands, new vehicles, and more.

To access the heist, you’ll need to gain access to the VIP section of The Music Locker, where you’ll meet Miguel Madrazo, son of Martin and Patricia, and someone who has a bone to pick with drug lord El Rubio. From there, you’ll fly to El Rubio’s pleasure island of Cayo Perico and start planning your heist.

One of the interesting things about the Cayo Perico Heist is that you don’t have to do any setup if you don’t want. Of course, when it comes to pulling off the heist, you might wish you had for the extra benefits and perks that the setups provide, like powerful vehicles and infiltration tools. It’s also the first Heist that you can complete solo.

The Kosatka Submarine will be both your planning area and a new method of transportation around the island. You can navigate it around the island to pick up lost cargo for unique rewards, and also store the new Sparrow helicopter and Kraken Avisa submersible.

The update will also bring with it several notable additions. The new K.U.L.T. 99.1 FM radio station is hosted by the Strokes’ Julian Casablancas. Two new clothing brands, Civilist and Misbhv, will be available in stores, and new heavy-duty military vehicles like the Annihilator Stealth and the Pegassi Toreador will be available for purchase.
