Grounded update adds achievements, Broodmother boss, and more
Obsidian Entertainment has delivered the huge Shroom and Doom update for survival game Grounded.
Starting with the “Shroom” part, players can now harvest the giant mushrooms littered around the yard to obtain new material. These mushroom pieces can then be ground down using the new Grinder and turned into Shroombricks using the Oven to make more sturdy shelters.
While the Doom part of the update comes from the new giant spider boss that players will be encountering. The Broodmother hangs out near the Flingman flying disc in the Hedge and won’t be easy to take down. Players who manage to defeat the giant enemy will be rewarded with unique and powerful items.
Other additions include 20 new achievements, the crossbow weapon, gardening improvements, pets, sitting, and more. Read the full patch notes here.
Grounded is available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
