GreedFall’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade and expansion are now available
Focus Home Interactive and Spiders Studio have released the Gold Edition of GreedFall along with a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade and The De Vespe Conspiracy expansion.
Following the upgrade, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners will have the choice between Quality and Performance modes. The former is the default and runs the game at a native 4K with a 30 FPS cap, while the latter bumps the FPS cap to 60, but runs the game at an upscaled 4K, instead of native. Xbox Series S owners can choose between native 1080p/30 FPS in Quality and an uncapped framerate that runs between 50-60 FPS in Performance.
Owners of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive the upgrade for free. However, players on PlayStation 5 who claimed the game through PlayStation Plus are not eligible for the upgrade, according to publisher Focus Home Interactive.
As mentioned above, also available from today is the Gold Edition, which bundles the base game with the new The De Vespe Conspiracy expansion. The expansion sees players visiting the previously undiscovered region of Teer Fradee to unravel a mystery.
GreedFall Gold Edition and The De Vespe Conspiracy are available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
