Grand Theft Auto V is coming to next-gen consoles in 2021
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online are coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in 2021, Rockstar has announced.
“The new generation versions of GTAV will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever,” the developer said in a blog post.
Rockstar also revealed that a standalone version of Grand Theft Auto Online will be launching in the second half of 2021. This standalone release will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 for the first three months.
Finally, all PlayStation Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4 will be getting GTA$1,000,000 each month that they play GTA Online until the PlayStation 5 version launches. The money will be deposited in their Maze Bank account within 72 hours of logging in each month.
