Gigantamax Toxtricity coming to Pokémon Sword and Shield
The Pokémon Company has announced that Gigantamax Toxtricity will begin appearing in Max Raid Battles from Thursday, February 5th, at 4 p.m. PT.
Players will be able to encounter the Amped Form of Toxtricity in Pokémon Sword and the Low Key Form in Pokémon Shield until March 8th. This Gigantamaxed version of the Electric/Poison—type Pokémon has access to the G-Max Stun Shock move, which deals damage and either poisons or paralyzes all opponents.
To challenge Toxtricity, players will need to have the latest information about the Wild Area, which should automatically download when connected to the internet.
Pokémon Sword and Shield are available now on Nintendo Switch.
