Ghostrunner adds Wave Mode and Assist Mode
A new update is now available for Ghostrunner that introduces two new modes to the game, publishers 505 Games and All In! Games have announced.
First up is the new roguelike-inspired Wave Mode. This new addition pits players against procedurally generated enemy types and formations with hero upgrades available between rounds. An exclusive sword awaits players who manage to survive 20 waves.
Joining Wave Mode is the new Assist Mode. This is for players who wish to enjoy Ghostrunner‘s story and includes three toggle options that will reduce cooldowns, slow the gameplay down, and grant an extra life.
In addition to the above, the Neon Pack is now available to purchase. For $4.99, players will receive four sets of gloves and katanas: Neon Night, Afterglow, Luminescence, and Glint.
Ghostrunner is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 28th.
