Ghost- and Dark-type Pokémon invade Sword and Shield Max Raid Battles
The Pokémon Company has announced that Ghost- and Dark-type Pokémon will be popping up in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Max Raid Battles.
For the rest of the month, Gengar, Drifblim, Dusknoir, Hydreigon, Grimmsnarl, and Morpeko will appear more frequently.
“For an opportunity to encounter these Pokémon in a Max Raid Battle, you’ll need to connect your Nintendo Switch system to the internet through Y-Comm or by selecting Mystery Gift in the X menu, then selecting Get the Wild Area News,” a post on the official site adds. “After that, whenever you see a pillar of light shining from a Pokémon Den, you can walk up to the Pokémon Den and interact with it to start a Max Raid Battle with a Dynamax Pokémon.”
In other Pokémon news, The Pokémon Company recently confirmed that Pokémon Sword and Shield’s next expansion, The Crown Tundra, will be released on October 22nd. This DLC includes a new area to explore, new Pokémon to catch, a new tournament, and more.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are available now on Nintendo Switch.
