Gearbox Software is celebrating Mercenary Day, Borderlands’ in-universe festive-themed holiday, by giving away some free items for Borderlands 3.
Over the next few days, the developer will be sharing SHiFT codes that unlock free in-game gifts, such as weapon trinkets and skins. Players will have until January 10th, 2020 to redeem these codes either in-game or via the SHiFT website.

As a reminder, Borderlands 3’s first campaign DLC, Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, goes live later this week on December 19th. The upcoming DLC tasks players with raiding Handsome Jack’s now-abandoned casino in search of cash and loot.
