Genshin Impact trailer shows Hu Tao in action, daily check-in feature added

A new trailer has been released for Genshin Impact by developer miHoYo that showcases the newest addition to the game’s roster Hu Tao.

In the trailer, we get to see the owner of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor taking on a group of Fatui after they interrupt her performing rites. She battles using a pyro-infused polearm and also swings a ghost around to cover the area in fire. Watch the trailer below:

Hu Tao’s banner will be available in-game starting tomorrow, March 2nd.

The developer also announced the introduction of a Daily Check-In feature for Genshin through its HoyoLab site. Starting today, players can visit the site and check-in each day to obtain a number of in-game items, including Primogems, experience, Mora, and food. Sadly, PlayStation players are unable to take part at the moment due to needing to link a miHoYo account.

Genshin Impact is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile.
