Genshin Impact arrives on PS4, PC, and mobile alongside new trailer
MIHoYo has shared an official launch trailer for its open-world action RPG game Genshin Impact.
The free-to-play title puts players in control of the “Traveler,” a mysterious character who sets out on a journey to locate their missing sibling and uncover the secrets held by the world of Teyvat. The game features Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor, two of Teyvat’s seven major cities, and more than 20 playable characters at launch.
Going forward, the developer plans to introduce more cities, new stories and characters, seasonal events, and more.
“For the past three and a half years, our team has been working towards creating a sprawling, beautiful open-world game in which players have the freedom to explore alone or bring friends along for the journey,” Forrest Liu, General President of miHoYo, said. “We’re very grateful to have over 10 million players pre-registered for Genshin Impact across PS4, PC, and mobile around the world. We can’t wait to see you all in the world of Teyvat.”
Genshin Impact is available now on PlayStation 4, PC, iOS, and Android.
