Gears 5 Tech Test open to all Xbox Live Gold members this weekend
Microsoft has announced that it will be opening up the Gears 5 Versus Multiplayer Tech Test to all Xbox One players with a Gold membership for the next few days.
From 10 a.m. PDT tomorrow, July 26th, Gold members can jump into the test alongside preorder customers and Xbox Game Pass members. During this latest round of testing, players will be able to try out Escalation, Arcade, King of the Hill, and a training mode called Boot Camp. In addition, a small Tour of Duty will be available that rewards an exclusive Tech Test Banner upon completion.
Finally, all players who complete one match in the Tech Test between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. PDT on Friday, July 26th will unlock the Wreath Bloodspray in the full game.
Players can download the Tech Test now so they can jump in straight away, but the servers will remain offline until the test begins at 10 a.m. PDT tomorrow. The test will be available until Monday, July 29th at 10 a.m. PDT.
Gears 5 launches September 10th for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
