Galactic Civilizations III is free on PC
Epic Games is giving away 4X strategy game Galactic Civilizations III through the Epic Games Store.
The game puts players in charge of a civilization and tasks them with leading it into a golden age. Players can research new technology, design starships, colonize worlds, negotiate trade treaties, wage wars against other civilizations, and more. Play against 16-100 opponents and aim for one of several victory conditions, including military conquest, cultural domination, technological ascension, or political alliance.
Galactic Civilizations III also includes the Crusade and Retribution expansions, as well as the Mega Events DLC. The game is free to download and keep from the Epic Games Store until January 20th.
Epic Games also revealed that first-person physics-based puzzle game Relicta will be free to download on the store from January 20th through January 27th.
