Fortnite’s Winter Royale Duos Tournament has a $15 million prize pool
Epic Games has announced that it is bringing back Fortnite’s Winter Royale tournament, but this time it’s using the Duos format.
The event will take place from December 20th until December 22nd. $5 million in prize money will be available on each of the three days for a total of $15 million in prize money.
Epic adds that all server regions will take part in their own platform-specific Duos competition and that the tournament is open to any rank of player. More information about the rules and prize breakdown will be shared “soon.”
Fortnite’s Champion Series Chapter 2 finals begin today and players have a chance to earn some cosmetics by watching on Twitch. Players simply need to link their Twitch and Epic accounts and then watch an approved Twitch channel during the finals to earn the FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 1 Spray and Banner.
