Fortnite’s Reboot a Friend is back
Fortnite players can earn some new cosmetic rewards by playing with friends during the returning Reboot a Friend event.
From now through April 26th, players will be able to earn points by playing with friends who haven’t played Fortnite for more than 30 days. Playing a game with a rebooted friend rewards players with 100 points and 10 more points for each game played after the first.
However, unlike the first iteration of Reboot a Friend, players who don’t have any friends to reboot can also take part in the event. Players can still earn the 10 points for each game by playing with any nominated player on their friends list, but cannot get the 100 points for the first game.
As for rewards, the Reboot Spray, Heartbeat Wrap, Toxic Flash Glider, and Plasma Carrot Pickaxe are up for grabs by earning enough points. Epic notes that these rewards are not exclusive and may be available to purchase at a later date.
To get started, visit the official Reboot a Friend website and select up to three friends to reboot.
